It may not be a big deal, but something is surely different.

Using SeoCentro I check my keyword rank quite frequently. I got my site up to rank #10 for my target keywords (it always shows up above 10 though on google).

I started with article marketing and directory submissions. Also yahoo answers.

The past few days have been twitter, yahoo answers, blog commenting, and social bookmarking (a lot, but to different articles on my domain).

Now I check SeoCentro and it says google doesn't have my domain ranked. It still shows up under google search in same spot, so what gives?

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

use some proxy to check the ranking. clear your cache and check again. if it is still on spot 10 then nothing to worry about. there might be some changes going on in search rankings which will be adjusted in few days probably.

Sorry should have clarified, I used a proxy to check. Still ranked. Thanks for your input.

Is it possible that all the social bookmarking and blog commenting ive done lately is causing everything to be adjusted? Maybe I will end up higher ?

Can't comment on that. Excessive and spammy link building can surely hurt your ranking. I would suggest to slow down your link building and build only quality links. Don't just concentrate on article directories and social bookmarking.

Thank you sir. I believe all my links are unique and of quality, but I slowed it down regardless to see what happens.

One more reason which may cause this problem and should not be ignored is that it is possible that some of your competitors may have used some black hat technique to make you penalize by google. And as a result you lost your position in SERP from #10 to lower. It is just my opinion.

Hmm well it is still showing as not ranked. But I don't understand because I am still getting my organic traffic, and if I check I still see my site ranked in top 10 from several different proxies.

Another thing I was just thinking is that, I recently switched over to thesis as my theme, but I'm pretty confident I adjusted everything accordingly for SEO. Maybe I missed something -- any way to check?

Use CCleaner to clear your cache etc. That will help.

I think, lots of SEO softwares are facing a clash with Google...
    current patch or something...

are you required to fill in the Cache requirement? when you used your SEOCentro?

Yeah, I have 2 paid tools I haven't opened up in 8 months. Sick of the updates that don't work one day later...
