Sandboxed or What? Help?

Can someone please shed some light on what is happening to my review site?

I built this site the first of this year - 4 months ago. I have paid for 3 services for backlinking. Now, mind you, these services have backlinking strategies that utilize drippable blog comments, article submission, etc. over a 4 - 6+ month period. I have been dancing on page 1 and 2 for all 6 of my keywords for about 2 months. 17 days ago, all my keywords went to the 800 + 900's spots (according to Market Samurai) and now they are slowly moving back up into the 600 + 700's spots.

I'm not sure if this is called being "sandboxed by Google"?? And if so, should I contact my paid services' representatives to put a hold on what they are doing (if that is even possible)? I've read people saying that it may take months and potentially up to a year to get any real rankings back - is this true?

I really don't like playing in the sand unless it is on some nice warm beach!!!! What to do, what to do? UGH and GRRRRRR!

Much Appreciated,
treevee

P.S. Just to note, my friend and I have researched these backlinking services together and we both bought into the same ones. His site is doing just fine and others commenting on their service threads, don't seem to be having this same issue!

I got 2 of my sites kicked hard as well after these kind purchases... So it can be only matter of time for your friends site getting"slap" as well... or not...

If anyone has any thoughts on this I would be happy to hear them too

No need to worry.. It will be back after a week or 2, or even earlier...

Ardie, You sound so certain of this!?! I wish I could be so positive but it's Google I am dealing with! I've read about this happening to others and within a few weeks, they are up and running stronger afterward. However, I've also read that it can take up to a year. I'm crossing my fingers!

Thing is, exactly one week before this occurrence, my keywords' rankings went off of the charts for just 1 day and came back a little stronger. I have been checking them daily just hoping.

I was thinking of changing content on each of the 6 posts on my site to higher quality and adding more info. So, if I change my content totally and re-write each one of them, is that kosher?
