Ranking sites and money pages. HELP!!!

After building a site promoting a clickbank product I am totally confuse on how to backlink. First let me start by telling you how I have my site laid out.

I have three keywords total. I have one page that is SEO optimized for two of the keywords and another page targeting my third keyword. I also have several more post just as filler posts.

The main problem I am having is my site is ranking for the keywords not the money page. I don't understand this because I am building backlinks with anchortext pointing to my money page and have a couple pointing at my site. Is there any advice or tips someone can give me to fix this problem.

    How old is your site? How competitive is the keyword? Both of these factors matter very much and may have to do with the fact that you're not ranking yet. It's likely that the keywords your site is ranking for are far less competitive, which is most likely why this is happening.

    Try varying your anchor text and source of backlinks, and don't forget to link to other pages on the site too. Linking to only one page could be detected as unnatural. Build out more sites as you wait. Be consistent with your efforts and give it some time. One day you'll wake up to a nice surprise.

      One of my keywords are ranking on the first page, number 5 after 3 weeks. But its the site that is ranking not the specific targeted money page that's being ranked. I want my money page to rank not my site. I will take your advice on trying new anchor text.
