sometime, adsense does not update you the income and sometime those clicks are invalid from the same visitors click. I ever got that experirence but it is not a big deal though as long as you got traffic daily then you will be able to make $$$$

    Hey,

this happened already to me as well. This usually happens because of one of the 3 reasons stated below:

    1) You clicked on your own ads (Google knows about your ID)
    2) Another user clicked 4 times on a row on your ads
    3) The advertiser didn´t have enough funds on his adwords account to cover the cost per ad.

    Best wishes,

    Gerald

Thanks Gerald, I never knew one won't get paid if the advertiser don't have funds!

Here's the truth about invalid clicks. Everybody gets them. Often.
The only way to know is if you login and check every minute.
That is, if you login and see 4 clicks no money. Then login later
and see 7 clicks for $10, you know 4 were invalid. But, if you
never logged in first and just saw 7 clicks for $10, you would never
      know that 4 were invalid.

I had to do a double a take on some of the responses, but after re-reading that
one I hope the meaning is that the more valid clicks you have overall, the
more the invalid clicks become less of a problem.

4 invalid clicks out of 4 clicks is totally different than 4 invalid clicks out of 100.

Vote for this. If you didn't break adsense TOS, then you needn't worry about this. If Adsense thought it was invalid behaviour they definitely will contact you through E_mail.

i'm not sure the clicks are invalid. there's an adsense bot...just like search engine bots that crawls your site so find keywords and shows you relevant ads. if your adsense on your site is new...means the adsense bot hasn't gathered enough data to show you relevant ads and hence will show public ads(the charity ads and energy saving ads) which are valueless. so if you can on an income-free ad, it'll count the clicks but you get $0. i think that's what you're experiencing. i stand to be corrected though.

    I've had 1 click for $0.00 but never 4.

The other day I actually noticed 0 clicks for $.01. ... Not sure how that happened.

If your only source of income is the hopes of ctr, then use high paid keywords. Couponing is a good one now or bankruptcy.

I have come across this in three different instances.

    1) Over 18 Page impressions without a click

    2) 2 clicks without any earning

    3) 1 click with $0.22 earnings of 22 pages visited.

The simple explanation was just clicking on a link takes you to a landing page which is not counted, then you are again carried to the main site from where your earning start calculated.

I don't know if that is how adsense work BUT I am still trying to figure that out from others experience.

Also, if you are using the allowed sites feature, then if someone clicks on your ads in google cache or if some one scraped your site and forgot to remove your adsense code, then you won't get credit for those clicks.

Does the Adwords introductory ad that has been running recently pay when clicked? I have been seeing this ad quite a bit over the last few days at one of my sites and, not surprisingly, the revenue has dropped. But on one of the days I received clicks but no revenue, which had me thinking that the Adwords ad served via Adsense does not pay when someone clicks on it.
