• Go to Backlinks Checker Tool - Backlink Watch and type in your competitor's website-top 3 sites ranking on the first page of Google for your keyword.
  
• Click on the pages that have their backlinks, and see if you can leave yours there too-using your keyword as anchor text.
  
• The higher the PR of the Root domain of the site the backlink is on, the higher the quality (especially if it's a dofollow link)

3. try to make a page that wikipedia will not remove when you add it to the links
