Sidewide ranking drop, Don't know what happened.

My site is suddenly suffering from a sitewide raking drop and I don't know what happened. All the pages of the site are buried deep down. Lots of terms which I had on #1 are now in 41, 45 and such places.

This happened overnight and i had gained traffic in both panda updates. Have you guys seen any such thing happening SITEWIDE?

I've seen one page dropping and coming up back but have NEVER seen before a site with more than 100 pages (1000 unique words on each page, high quality) and all the pages going down the SERPs. Site targets a wide variety of keywords and all the keywords related to 100 pages are way way down.

Site is wordpress site.
I'm not linking to any bad guys.
Don't getting backlinks overnight.
Content is 100% unique and on topic.

Any of you guys suffered from this? This doesn't sound like an ordinary google dance. Can you provide help/suggestions on this matter?

    Did you change any of the onpage optimization for your site? Perhaps the title, description, anything else?

    Did you add or delete any conten off the main pages?

    If you didnt spam backlinks or anything else, it seems odd to drop like that.

      Hi,

      No I didn't did anything on the site. About 1 month ago, I added a sidebar to the website and linked a few important pages of the site from sidebar. This sidebar appears on the whole site.

      I've heard that backlinks can't harm a site. Is it possible that somebody is spamming my site with backlinks? But in that case, one page or two pages will drop off which are targeted. Whole site drop just seems odd.... and this happened after Panda updates!!

    may be your site is spammed by backlinks, dont purchase backlinks it will hurt your site and serp.
