Just a simple question for all the SEO'S

Guys, Myself Harsh and I am doin seo for last one year or so.

I wanted to ask all of you a simple question.

I am on a pr8 website..
Luckily I managed to get a do follow link from a page on the same website which has a pr0

Do U think Google will consider that link from a PR8 website or I will not be getting any links juice coz its on an entirely different page with a PR of zero??

i would like to know what you guys think.

    No PR means Page rank. So its the page that has PR that counts not interior or secondary PR 0 pages. You will get some effect from PR flowing through the site (hopefully) but don't expect a great boost UNLESS there is navigation from that PR 8 page that goes directly to where your page is located.

    so dont you think since the page is also hosted on the same domain as the main web site [since its a part of the website], I should get the juice from the website..

    at the end of the day, the posts were on the main front page onli [pr8] and then by clicking on a link it opens a new page with a differnet page rank.[zero]

      Getting a link on a PR 0 page from a site with a PR8 mainpage is better than getting a link on a PR 0 page from a site with a PR 1 mainpage.

      How much exactly only Google knows and there are a lot of variables. Best rule of thumb is that there is really no such thing as a bad link. Take the link, move on and get some more but worrying too much about any one link is a waste of your time and energy.

        aah true man... The thing is while just doing a gig on fiverr, I though I should just play with the gig, In the end I managed to get good backlinks from pr4-8 websites in fact around 9-10 of them that too do follow and approved rightaway inspite of seeing that most of the links and anchor texts were getting No-do follow there, so i twisted the codes and managed to get the links as do follow.

        lets see how things goes.
