Adsense And Duplicate Content

I don't get it.. Adsense TOS prohibits duplicate content. But I see my articles get scrapped and republished to all the main article directories all the time. Now, why don't these article directories get their accounts taken from them?? They are clearly running Adsense. Is it because these directories are banking serious cash for Google? Are they just saying that in the TOS to protect their own ass??

Simple. Adsense does not prohibit duplicate content.

Also duplicate content is not THAT bad unless you have duplicate content across your domain, example post 1 is the same as post 2 post 3 and post 4. Look at Mahalo, mostly scraped content.

I think google hates duplicate content..You can even get banned if most of your site's content is duplicate content..Duplicate content in articles directories is different i think..Because they add back link to your site..
