Take this challenge: Define SEO (Warriors learn the best way to do SEO)

Hi there,

I was just wondering how well you define SEO & what is your way of doing it in best possible manner. My words:

SEO is of two types: On site & Off site.

On site SEO is done to improve overall website user experience which will lead to higher search engine rankings (that's why websites focusing on better user experience haven't got affected by Google latest algorithm update).

Off site SEO is done to make sure your website is gaining popularity & authority in your niche. Naturally it happens with people visiting your website & sharing it with others on their website, blog or social networks. But we do utilize manual SEO services for off site SEO.

So what's your take, how do you define SEO & what is your best way to do it? Thanks for your replies in advance, hope this thread can help many trying to do SEO the right way.

    You've described what it does... not defined what it is.

    SEO could be defined as a process or systematic set of actions
    instituted for the purpose of improving the "visibility" of a particular
    web site within the natural or organic search results.

    Such actions, processes or systems may be accomplished through
    techniques and strategies relating to the site or page itself or through
    other sites.
