Adsense "Niche" sites- fact or fiction

Hey everyone, new to the WF.
I've thrown some spaghetti on the wall here with about 25 made for adsense blog niche sites.
They are supposed to be SEO'd out (seem to be pretty good code wise)
and turnkey. Essentially, "keep up with blog posting and they should do the rest."
I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with similar sites and if the concept of "made for adsense" with little else functional about them ever work out consistently?
Or does Google see these coming a mile away now, and although I have gotten a few clicks and a few bucks showing in the adsense account, will I ever get the payout ? or will they do a review at time of payout trigger reached, cancel my account and I am wasting my time completely.
