I know you dont neccessarily have to ping them and some links will eventually get indexed, but do you think it is not wise to not ping them?

  • It usually helps. You can also submit them to bookmark sites. Google loves these and I often get my new pages on a site indexed in hours after submitting them to social bookmark sites. The same would work for any links.

So say you got links on a bunch of forums etc.. You would bookmark that forum URL?

Pinging does not ensure indexing, pinging with linklicious ensures that your page will be CRAWLED. It is not wise to leave your low quality links the way they are (un-pinged) because if they are not found...they are pointless.

No you do not. It only helps it happen faster, I do not ping all my links as it would not look natural.

You have to PING them to get them CRAWLED sometimes... but whether Google indexes the links or not is up to Google.

I ping if Google can't seem to find it and I am not very patient. but if you wait.....google finds them any way.
