Google Tests new Search Resutls!

I was running some searches in Chrome Inkognito Search in Norwegian and discovered some wierd results.

The results are actually normal, but the way they are displayed are new to me.

Have anyone else seen these type of results? In google.no without inkognito the results was as usual.



The url is moved above the black text. Both in the ads and in the organic results.


So, what do you guys think?

    I think they're constantly split testing all kinds of layouts. If one "converts" better for them (whatever their goals are, like CTR, lower bounce rate, etc.) they'll change it. Nothing new from G

    I am not refering to the results. They are similar to how they have been for a while.

    I am refering to the way the url is places above the black text. I was a bit shocked by this as I am pretty used to see the link at the bottom.

    They are probably testing to see how it change CTR on their ads and results.
