Adsense Status still showing up as "New"

I'm new to Adsense and got approved a few weeks ago and successfully added Adsense to one of my sites.
In the meantime, I added it to another site last weekend and the ads are not showing up yet. When I checked the Status, they show up as "New" whereas the page with the ads shows up as "Active". Did I miss a step? How do I activate the ads on my other website?
