Question on blog posting

When you comment on blogs that allow do follow links, I was wondering that if you substitute your name for your anchor text, would that be considered spamming? I have done this a few times and have not included any links or references to my site in the body, only the name at the top. I was wondering if that is acceptable or if it will just get moderated and removed.

    What I meant was, instead of your name in the name field, can you substitute the anchor text you want instead of your name and not get removed? I would like to gain those links for my anchor text, rather than just having my name linking to my site because that doesn't help my seo.

    Moderators do have such comments deleted, but when you add them some where like at the bottom of a good comment, they do scale pass moderation.

    But when you substitute your name with an anchor text they are generally spammy.

    Yes, most blogs that I frequent don't really like the anchor text for a name. Also, I tend to check the site out first and see if anyone is using anchor text. If no one is using anchor text that is a good indicator not even to try it out. But you can follow all of the rules and still be considered spam by a blog owner. Each blog owner has their own definition. Makes it hard to use blog commenting for back links.

    My best advice on this is that it is all on a case by case basis. Some blog webmasters will allow for it, while others will not.

    I recommend that you just check out what the comments look like on each individual site and do like the others are doing.

    Better is to look for sites that allow html tag with in comment field.write useful related comment with your link at the bottom.

    Moderators are very sensitive with that kind of posting. They usually delete comments like that. So in order to pass the scale, it would be much better if you will just put your anchor text in the body of your comment.
