WTF! Am I penalized by Google?

Well I have a blog. And I am having a hard time getting its inner page ranked and suddenly my rankings also dropped

I registered the domain on 15-May-2011 and Today suddenly I was moved ffrom 10th position to 60th position.

I want you all to have a look at my blog

I was trying to rank main keyword which u can see itself in the domain name.

Am I penalized by google?

If yes then How can I overcome it

PS: There is some copied content and I even tried backlinking on many blogs through comments but none of them are indexed

    I am seeing lot of thread about this these days.Domain needs to be atleast three months and must have good backlinks.Don't try too much and get penalty rightaway from google.

      That's fairly normal for a new site. A few things you should consider:

      Are you posting too many back links? A new site should only get about one or two a day.
      Are visitors spending time on your site? Look at the bounce rate, page views, return visitors, avg. time on site, etc... These are all is import factors for "relevance" scoring. If your bounce rate is high, you'll need to create better content.
      Are you posting new content? You should post a new article about 2-3 times per week.

        Apparently either I need the money more than you do, or I'm just greedy.

        Your new site is going to bounce (it happens to everyone), might as well hammer the new site with some backlinks. What's the worst that could happen, you won't be number one for a week or two (so what).

        I've found that new sites tend to bounce less from authority type backlinks.

        Google has no way in the world to determine If your new site went viral.

    Finkle is right about backlinks - how many have you been posting a day? Are they all blog comments?

    A good way to get quality backlinks is to write relevent (to your site and keyword) articles and post on established sites (e.h. GoArticles, EzineArticles, HubPages, etc.).

    These will get indexed more easily and if you build them slowly and consistently they should help your site increase rank without getting a penalty.

    That said - your site may not have a penalty at all. It could just be a 'Google dance', which is common for new sites like yours, and you may return stronger in a few days.

      Hmm yeah I tried to post comments on different blogs. But very few of them got accepted and even google didnt crawl them.

      How many backlinks is too many? I was doing 10 to 15 for last 3 days.. Yeah bounce rate is pretty good. Its 40%. Yeah some copied content too but just 5 articles posted till now...

      Hmm yeah maybe a google dance but not a break dance that it will land me to 6th position and my competitor is still there on 12th position.

      And I think its quite tough to get approved on established sites like you have mentioned...

      So How many links should I spread everyday...

      I was thinking to scrap this blog and start a new blog as its penalized by google...so will be tough to find good traffic..altough its getting 500 a day but I was expecting 1k today but all in vain

    No it is not, this kind of thing happen ALWAYS when your domain is a new one and you are doing backlinking right away. I can give you an example of one of my websites.

    same story, new domain, massive backlinks bought, i was in position 12th then after 2 days i was in 30th and i was just like you thinking whaaaattt!! and why, but things changed a few weeks later i was 4th, so this kind of things happen a LOT but nobody but google can actually tell youwhats going on.. just focus on creating QUALITY backlinks and you will rank fine

      Yeah that is fine but why then are the links not indexed in webmasters...I checked in backlinkwatch or iwebtool it shows the backlinks(not all of them).

      So that raised by query that Google might have punished me. BUt my blog is just 10 days old.

      can you have a look at my blog and let me know what are the mistakes I have commited in SEO? I will be very thankful

    It could just be dancing. Just give it a week and see what happens. Should be fine. This is normal especially if you did some backlinking recently

      very new site. Google gives you a "honeymoon" period and then drops you to the appropriate position. From there - it's up to you to promote it.
