Micro Niche Finder - **OPINIONS needed**

I've been hearing/reading about Micro Niche Finder...and am considering buying it. But, before I do, I wanted to get some opinions about it. Does it work? Is it worth the money? Does it do more than Google's Keyword search can??

Just some opinions on the product would really help me decide whether it's a good idea to buy or not....

I like, it keeps everything nice and neat so to speak, instead of market samurai, but I love market samurai better, because with market, I could take a huge list of keywords and import it, with MNF you really cannot do that.

      This is not true.

I agree with Steve when he said it's updated regularly.

It was updated to version 5.69 on Friday and then to version 5.6.10 on Saturday.

The tool has been updated and is all the time, however IMO I feel it just isn't as effective as it used to be. I used to use this program pretty much all the time until towards the end of last year.

If it could also evaluate the top 10, look at PR, number of links JUST to those then it would be more effective!

@Raychles there are many keyword tools in the market. Sometimes the choice comes down to preference. I have used many keyword research tools and the one I prefer is Market Samurai. I have found this to provide me the best information and understanding of my market. Have a look at their training first before you buy to get an idea noblesamurai.com/dojo/marketsamurai/

    Hope this helps you

It's a fantastic tool but there seems to have been a few glitches with it recently. I haven't been able to use it for the last 6 days now.

It is continually being updated but as soon as one update comes out, it seems as though Google changes something and there's another glitch.

There was a glitch last week and it was updated but I haven't been able to use it since before the update. The only advice I've been given for the last few days is to re-install IE 9, which I've now done 3 times.

In all honesty, I find it much more user-friendly than MS but think I might have to switch permanently and go through the huge learning curve with it, as I really don't want to be going a week at a time and not being able to use a tool.

    Just my thoughts.

I've been using Micro Niche Finder for several years and use it every day. Primarily, I'm looking for number of exact searches and the SOC rating. I pretty much take their SOC ratings at face value. If it's red, forget it. If it's green, I use that keyword to promote.

Saves an incredible amount of time. However, that being said, I'm disappointed that the Ad Cost no longer appears. I would certainly want to use keywords that had 1,000 exact searches per month, a green SOC rating and an AD Cost of $2,00 compared to the same statistics with an Ad Cost of $0.25.

I'm thinking of buying Market Samurai.

Ok first of all ad cost does work in micro niche finder you just have a account with adwords and its free. then just sign in under micro niche finder in the options tool bar of micro niche finer.

I use this program everyday it is much more user friendly than MS. IF you are just looking for keyword research then I would go for it. but if you want to more like spy on competiors back links and other things then I would get MS but it will take more time to learn it.

Thanks a million on the tip to get Ad Cost back up and running in MNF. I have an adwords account but the login information must have gotten wiped out during an MNF upgrade.

I really thought that the Ad Cost was something that had just gotten lost in the recent changes to GAKT. You've restored my faith in MNF.

your welcome. Sometimes the login information will get wiped out from micro niche finder. I always go into options and check each time I start up micro niche finder.

        MS = market Samurai

It has some cool features for spying on backlinks and such but Micro niche finder is by far better with being user friendly and less time to learn.

I recommend that you do not buy Micro Niche Finder. I bought it and while it worked, it was pretty good. But then Google changed something and Niche Finder had to change. I have never been able to get it to work since then, even though I have downloaded the updates/revisions.

I know that people say that you can contact Micro Niche Finder and they will work with you, but I simply do not want to put the effort into that. I feel like when you buy something, it should work and you should not have to call the vendor and beg for assistance in getting it to work.

All you have to do is download the updates and have an adword account. You then go to the options in micro niche finder and enter your login information.

The reason why you have to do this is because adword changed their user iinterface. you now have to login to see the cpc, when you go to google adword tool.

That's the whole point. To make micro niche finder work, I have to jump through hoops that I do not want to jump through.

When I bought micro niche finder, it worked fine. I did not have to have an adwords account and I did not have to use IE. After Google made changes, micro niche finder had to make changes. I down loaded the updates/revisions and then learned that I needed to use IE. Now, you are saying that I have to use my adwords account which I simply do not want to do.

Again, based on my own experience, I would not recommend that anyone buy micro niche finder. Use the free tools or try MS.

PS. I am not sorry that I bought micro niche finder because it did work well for awhile, but if I knew when I bought it what I know now, I would not have bought it.

I agree that MNF has had problems over the past few weeks but everytime Google changes then it isn't just MNF that has problems, MS also has to be updated to deal with the changes.

You don't have to use IE if you have MNF, they just ask that you update to IE9 as when MNF does it's searches it is using IE in the background. You can still use your browser of choice for other surfing i.e. Firefox or Chrome.

MNF is cool, but there are other tools that are better.

                    It's hard to quantify 'better'!

If you know of better tools where you can enter a seed keyword and get back a list of related keywords along with indicators for backlinks needed and competition then please share.
