Advice on buying backlinks

I am ready to buy back links and am looking for the opinions of fellow warriors who have had ranking success with a back links package. There are so many options I would just like to hear from people who have seen an improvement in their SERP's.

    I wrote something earlier on buying backlinks, if you can do contextual link building and paying to be in some contextual networks is a great way to start:

      My personal opinion, is that you should focus on services which guarantee a page 1 ranking, for a set price. This means that they have to do the work, and supply enough backlinks to get your keyword to number 1.

      Many services will offer 100, 500 or thousands of backlinks, but you have no real way of knowing if they will help your rankings or not!

        I have never seen any guarantees like this... can you recommend some? would love to have a guarantee!

    Number of external link on the page.
    Nature of external links. No adult links or illegal activity link should be on it.
    page rank of site or page.
