what's whith market samurai?

Hey, im trying to get a good keyword for my website, and i just checked something out. Market samuray says that a praticulat keyword has 204,211 competing websites, and when i type it on google it shows 18.390.852. Im not saying its a big difference its HUGE. So whats the point here?

    If I recall correctly, that competition is for direct match, i.e. search term in quotes.

    Try your term like this in google: "your longtail keyword" and see if that number isn't much much closer to what MS is showing you.

    Yes it decrease number of websites but still over milionsss

    I have been working as an affiliate marketer for a couple of years. So far I have tested several keyword research and analysis programs, and I must say, I have not found a better one than Market Samurai.

      Dude wtf? this is pure spam ok...why are you saying that? I have a question about that software and you say that? Ok i wont rage im calmed. Just read first post, and if anyone knows anwser please tell me.

        Firstly, the SEOC you see on market samurai is same as typing ur keyword in quotes on google search.
        Secondly, umm, i don't know if this is a big problem but till a week back (since 1 month), i was getting SEOC for a keyword of 25k. Guess what. I decided to do a quoted kw google search for the same and it showed 80k. And.. yeah.. that kinda got me mad. But anywhoo.. I'm still ranking 8 for that kw.. so it wasn't that bad
        And yeah, it's surprising how samurai started showing 80k comp for that kw after I found it out on google..
