How To Get Traffic For My Sites!!

Hey Guys

Just wanted to know what you guys do to bring in traffic to your sites??

For example when you make 1 site say using 1 keyword what do you do to bring in traffic??

    choose social bookmarking, forum, blog commenting , direstory submission, article submisssion and more to promote the keywords which are more related to a site in serp.

    I find a few long tail keywords with about 3,000-8,000 exact match searches a month, check the competition out (on and off page SEO) and if it's not that strong start building backlinks with my keyword as anchor text in relevant articles posted on established article sites. Slowly my site rises in the SERPs and eventually I get onto the first page, sometimes first position, for that keyword. This is a good way of getting traffic to a site - one which I use often.

    It takes a lot of time, but the above methods work.Just build your link network naturally, posting around forums and submitting articles to good directories and so on.

    It will eventually pop out. But remember it takes time and effort.

    If you are asking for tools there are like a million threads about that, read carefully tho, and always judge what is being said.

    It depends on whether you want paid of free traffic. If you want paid traffic. PPC is an option. Some people are also going into pay per view. If you want free traffic you need to have a solid SEO strategy which you can use to drive traffic to your site. Another option is also through Facebook where people are starting to build groups to "introduce" people to their site (but this is risky, because if not done properly, Facebook can permanently shut down your account).
