Does anyone have experience with getting the best Amazon Ranking? I have some products, Teeter Hangups Inversion tables, that are ranking anywhere from 2-6 in the Amazon search, but we need to be #1 or 2.

I'm wondering if backlinks to the amazon link will help at all. I realize we have to increase the Sales Rank to increase the ranking, but am wondering if back-linking or any other strategies will help.

Thanks-
Keith

Yes backlinking will help. That's probably the reason why someone else is in the top spot right now.

Thank you for the reply. Just to be clear - You're talking about the ranking within Amazon, not the Amazon link ranking inside Google right?

That's ok thank you. We are, however, considering starting a backlink campaign to our top Amazon listing to increase Google rankings for that listing too. One main issue I see is that there is already an Amazon link (listmania) ranking #1 in Google for "inversion tables", then our site is ranking #2 in Google.

We have a large marketing budget but I want to make sure we are targeting tasks that we can actually topple, and not go after unreachable goals. Example - the term "inversion table reviews) also has an Amazon link on Page 1 Google but it is #10 and looks like a less competitive Amazon affiliate to beat out.

      Any comments?
