Keyword Desnity

Is keyword density a very huge factor these days especially when you are trying to rank highly for long keywords. I mean wont the article look like spam. Whats your keyword desnity for 3 word and 4 word keywords

    3 and 4 word articles? That's not even a sentence man!

    The generally accepted rule of thumb is 2%-4% keyword density but I usually write at about 5%. Also try to use varitions of your keyword example:

    If you keyword is car also use:

    car
    cars
    autos
    automobile

    etc.

      Lol I meant 3 word keywords. My bad :p I mean what is your keyword density for 3 word keywords like free twilight posters. Is it possible to bring 5% and all. Wont it be considered spam. Well for 1 word its quite easy but 3 words and all

    Yea I don't find that keyword density is a massive factor, but it is still important. I work at around 3% density.

    I use about 3-5% as well.

    Generally when I write articles, I prefer to write without thinking about the keyword at all. If you are writing a quality post, I find that the keywords and LSI words are naturally embedded in the post and frequently, because you are writing it "naturally", you tend to use related phrases or words that people will actually use about the topic (not just something google says people are using).

    After all thats done, I sometimes check in word to see how many times I used the keyword just in case I subconsciously over did it or something and edit the post here and there with keyword density in mind.
