I use RankTracker by SeoPowerSuite. Works well for me. I create Client reports using it! RavenTools also have a good tool for Rank Checking.

I usually use Market Samurai Rank Tracker module and Link Assistant Rank Tracker. Both are much more accurate than SEObook's.

No tool shows you 100% accurate. Better to check manually if you wanna accurate result. Otherwise i recommend you to use market samurai

I use SEOQuake for that purpose, I can write my own paramaters for it, adjustment is more wide.

I think MS's rank tracker is awful. Goes down too often. Reports inaccurate results. Love MS for other things though.

Try Advanced Web Ranking. Great tool.

seobook's rank checker is VERY VERY inaccurate. been running it for a few days on several sites with several keywords. to check the real rankings i've been using scroogle.org and using safari browser after wiping out all the cookies etc. (which by the way, almost turned up the exact same rankings on both of those)

i have a ton of rankings that off by about 10 or more places. rank checker says 26 in google and its really 10. it says 16 and its 5th etc. it shows that there's only 1 of my keywords on the first page, but i have over 12.

its pretty worthless actually. too bad. i was a little excited since it also does yahoo and bing (which i havent bothered to check for accuracy). but i have to admit, it seems unrealistic to expect it to work well since its free. probably just a marketing gimmick to get people in seobook's marketing funnel and upsells.

RankTracker is awesome but the free version comes at a price. The free version will not let you save any information so basically, anytime you want to check the ranks of keywords, you have to create a new job every time. It's very frustrating but I only have to do it once a day so it's tolerable.

Works great but you can't save unless you upgrade to full version.

I'd suggest you give Authority Labs a try. It's the most accurate one I've tried so far. Web-based with a monthly subscription, but they have a 30 day trial. I've tried SEScout as some have recommended here, but I found it to be slightly inaccurate at times (pretty slick UI though). They might've improved their accuracy later though, as it's been a while since I tried it.

I recommend checking out Microsite Masters. It's the most reliable and accurate rank tracker on the market and of course my weapon of choice. Do yourself a favor and sign up for an account today, you'll be glad you did.

well. i just downloaded the free versions of serpfox and cuterank. and ran the same keywords that seobooks rank checker screwed up on. they were both dead on accurate. not sure which one i will stick with yet, but i'll say that serpfox sure seems to have a lot of awesome features.

but i know one thing.... throwin' out the ol' seobook rank checker in the garbage where it belongs.
