Hello everyone,
I have noticed a difference in results while doing keyword research in Google using the operators " intitle " and "Inanchor" together. A simple space after the Colon generate a different result. EX:

intitle:"starting an internet business" inanchor:"starting an internet business"

generate 93,300 results.

a simple space after the Colon...

intitle: "starting an internet business" inanchor: "starting an internet business"

generates 4,490 results.

Which one is the correct one?

I will highly appreciate your help

Yes, without the space is the correct one to use.

The intitle and inanchor methods for keyword research is wrong. You can use these metrics to see the number of sites that have these exact methods.

Why are you using these factors for your keyword research?

You are ONLY interested in the TOP TEN RESULTS, thats it. There are only ten websites to beat, and guess what... They are all on the front page, as this is where YOU want to be.

Learn how to analyse the top ten websites for both on-page and off page SEO and you will be well on your way to having a successful online business.

I was going to say the exact same thing. However, intitle & inurl research do give me at least a moderate outlook on how competitive the keyword is. But the REALLY important thing is figuring out if you can beat the top 10 competition.

I agree that the top 10 websites are the ones you should focus on. Check their PR and how well their on site optimization is and the number of backlinks.

Inanchor will give you an indication of how many of those top results are actually working hard to get there. I think that command does give you some valuable information.
