    It may be that those keywords are just more competitive now, but without seeing the site it's going to be hard to say. What are the site's you're competing with like? Ho many backlinks do they have and what's their on-page SEO like compared to yours?

    I am not sure that it happened all in one day. I think your site lost rankings gradually as you weren't working on it. Google loves fresh content so try updating the content and you will be back, provided there is no penalty to your site.
