Website not ranking

I have created a wordpress website,have done all the on page SEO and it gets an A score in Traffic Travis and I have checked it thouroughly and everything seems fine.

The competitor websites that rank for the same keyword have maybe 1-5 backlinks, so the competition is almost inexistent.

I have created the website about a week ago and have created a few backlinks as well.

I have done the site: check to see if google has banned the website and if it is indexed. The website is indexed(actually 2 pages are indexed) and it is not banned.

The website does not show up in the first 100 pages of Google and I can't work out what the issue is. I have ranked other websites before for medium competition websites and have never had this issue.

Any suggestions?

As your domain is very new,It might take some more time to achieve the ranking.Create more backlinks.Your competitor might have keyword in their url and it might be a aged domain.

Sometimes it take a while so be patient. Make sure your back links are being counted and keep on building. You will get there sooner or later It just doesn't happen as fast as we would like.

Don't expect to be on the first page in 1 week. Google takes a while to "assess" your site to work out where it should be ranked.

It has only been a week. It could take a month or longer for the website to rank. Especially if you are only building "a few backlinks" as you put it.

  First of all do the keyword optimization. After choosing the best and suitable keyword, you just arrange the keyword density and proximity. After completing this change your site contents and update it regularly. Use seo off-page methods also to keep the ranking high. It takes some time. So be patience.
