I just bought a domain name with 3 generic words (great late deals) in the domain name.

I didnt fully research the keyword before getting it and its possible that the high keyword search numbers (9900 exact) are for another seemingly well established site.

Is this an off limit domain name?
Is there anywhere I can check if its trademarked or something?
Hopefully its still usable and i havent just wasted money on a useless domain

If you use a company name in your domain name and offer something seemingly endorsed (even if you write a disclosure that it is not endorsed by them) they can send a C&D to your host, get it taken down or even transferred to them.

However, if you're doing something completely different with the domain often times they have no recourse even if its a trademark, so it kind of depends, not enough specifics here.

That being said for the most part you will not get sued, you just risk losing the domain and you already paid for it and unless it gets big you will usually not have an issue so I'd just go for it.
