bear in mind ScrapeBox is no longer the link builder it was. I own 2 copies, but I use them for validating targets, checking if my new content is indexed, and a number of other things.

I think ScrapeBox is a must for any SEO, just don't expect to get a lot of links with it, think of it as a swiss army knife for everything else.

Scrapebox is an essential tool in my link building arsenal, other than Xrumer I can't name a single piece of software that can builds links at the pace Scrapebox does.

Do explain i know your talking about blasting at least 2nd or 3d tire web 2.0, Web blogs but i mean is it really worth it ? where are you getting you lists from and is it worth running SB over and over blasting these tired backlinks ?? I am no saint and have done this blast many many times but hell is there REALLY a huge benefit ?? I seriously did not see any SERPs improvment after these blasts at all and shhh but every time i did a blast i felt terrible inside for polluting the internet i had to stop doing them not really sure why i felt this way i must be getting old or something because a few years ago i was spam crazy !

There are other ways to use scrapebox than just blasting.

          This.

Though blindly pointing thousands of links at your site obviously isn't what it used to be. But it's still a great tool for buffer pages. Or if you're trying to rank a page / site that can handle the sudden surge of backlinks. (Youtube videos, for example.)

So true Michael. I use it not for backlinking tool anymore.
Checking, scraping links, hijacking, PR, and so forth..

Yes it is really worth it.

Comment blasts are one of the most effective ways of getting links indexed (extra handy for the massive character spun link wheels on lower tiers) but more importantly it helps to create millions of unique paths for search spiders to follow to land on your site (essential ranking factor).

The other benefit is your placing your links on pages that are already indexed and you don't have to worry about getting them indexed, just wait for Google to visit again naturally.

I use Guestbooks in a similar manner.

It's all in the target list though, on a monthly basis I will-

Find new autoapprove sites to add to my list
Run it through the alive check and remove any dead website
Run it through the index check and remove any deindexed sites
Remove URL's that have failed 3 consecutive times

Exactly The same goes for public blog networks like ALN

You can use it on your money site still, but only for highly focused targeted posting with custom comments you have written yourself so it appears to the moderator you have done it by hand.

I suppose you could. Though, at that point, I'd rather leave a fewer number of comments @ a higher number of quality blogs. (Blog posts with PR, are dofollow, etc.)

But if you're using SB to post to niche-related blogs I can see how it can work. "General" niche-related comments will have a better chance at being approved on blogs in your niche.

Build a Link Wheel with SENuke, and manually via Squidoo and Hubpages. Use scrapebox to blast links to Squidoo and Hubpages (these can't be hit by Big G).

Profit EXTREMELY well longterm. Do this everyday with new Squidoo lenses and you're in big profit!

I've used ScrapeBox before but I gave up on it because its not really giving the results I want. I'm only using it to find good blogs, not to spam post. I don't know if it worked on you guys or maybe I was just doing things wrong. Anyway, good luck on Scrapebox.

Is scrapebox something that a newbie should buy or should we stick to fiverr?

I just purchased it through the b h w link, but IE9 won't let me download it. Says it is unsafe. What's that about?...Never mind, I took the chance and downloaded it thru FF and it scanned it and said no prob, so now I've got it up and running. Well, up and waiting for validation...

Yeah, I've noticed that IE 9 is starting to say that a lot of things are "not safe" for whatever reason. Actually just had a customer tell me the same thing with one of my packs. I use a download delivery service, GetDPD.com to handle the ordering & delivery process. It's kind of annoying that IE9 would say that it's not safe.
