Hey everyone,

How do you find out what page on Google search your website/article(s)/blogs/etc. are on?

I'd like to see the progress that it my pages are making in the organic searches for certain keywords.

Thanks!

If you aren't using Google Webmaster Tools you should be...
You can view the top queries for your site in the statistics section there.

This will show you the keyword(s) used and the position you were in at the time of the search.

You can often build a foundation for new keywords by looking at this data. Because you will often rank for phrases you never expected just from the content you put up.

So it is worth the 5 minutes it takes to set webmaster tools up.

    I use SEO Elite.

But really, all you need to do for google is go into the settings and set it for 100 results per page.

Then do a search for your keyword.

When the results appear, click Edit|Find on This Page. Enter a part of your URL and search.

Doing this 10 times, once for each page, will get you through the top 1,000 results in about 2 or 3 minutes.

Every day I check the obituaries. If I don't see my name there, then I know it's going to be a good day!

      I can't post links
      so you'll have to google
      "Mike's Marketing Tools"
      and use the rankings tool

work really great as you can easily check how you
      rank for different keywords

I have nothing to do with that site.

    Check out HitTail.com

I use this service to monitor long tail keywords for my sites...and I use rank tracker to monitor the actual rankings. Once a week I go into HitTail and add the keywords into Rank Tracker. Can be a pain, but it works for me.

Anymore I use Jon Leger's webcompanalyst. It is a great tool for checking on how hard it will be to rank for any given keyword. and you can check how your sites are ranking in google quickly and easily. There are free options, but Jon's software is fast and easy.

Go to google.com and type in as follows: "link: www.mysite.com"

I think that's what you were looking for :-)

Download the Google toolbar. There is a little bit on there that shows you your page rank and also on other sites too
