Hey everyone.

About 6 months ago I put up two websites that I intended on monetizing strictly by AdSense. However, I stopped IM stuff for a while due to being busy with college semester as well as working a full-time internship.

Well, I recently have time again so I'm delving back into the IM world and I noticed when i check my hostgator account that my two websites I initially put up get a consistent 250-300 views per month since February.

Now, I'm not totally sure how that is possible, but it's possible none-the-less. They are also sub-domains, therefore they are in my collegecooking.info directory.

Any suggestions as to what I should do with these? I'm kind of an amateur at a lot of this stuff, and ultimately didn't have a correct direction of what I did with these in the first place. I believe I linked them to a Facebook Like page.

Thanks in advanced!

250 Views a Month isn't allot? CPA Offers , Content Locking? CB , CJ?

Adsense isn't going to earn you anything with that ammount of traffic. Your best bet it CPA.

Have you already hit #1 for your primary keyword? Given they are aged now I would go on a backlink building campaign, increase rank, increase traffic and then think about changing your monetization strategies. 200-300 month isn't a lot of traffic to be testing different monetization strategies.

Since the domains have some age, backlinking will do wonders. The fact that the sites have any traffic at all shows that they have potential. You do have to make a decision, however, regarding what monetization strategy best fits your traffic, and what the traffic potential of those sites is.

With Adsense, you need 100 hits a day to make a dollar a day (give or take. I am assuming a 5% CTR and average 20 cents per click, both very realistic assumptions). This means you will need a lot of traffic to make the sites worth keeping. There are other money making strategies that can net bigger returns on smaller traffic. If, as it sounds like, you are targeting meal solutions for college students, then think of cost per action ads that would appeal to college students -- cell phones, laptops, spring break travel packages, dating sites for college students.

Now about that traffic: First, look at the top competitors for your keywords, and see what kind of traffic they are getting, and how they are monetized. Then spend three or four weeks building backlinks, and see how far up Google you can get for your keywords, and how much traffic you can build.

After one month of this, stop for a reality check. If you are getting free traffic from Google, Facebook or Youtube or wherever, then keep going. If not, then move on to something else.
