What are AP sites?

Hello friends,
Yesterday I had a conversation with my client and he asked me something related to seo.. I am in this field from past two years and have not heard this word AP sites. He asked me are you doing seo by Ap sites? I was not in a condition to answer his question as don't have knowledge of this. Please do share your knowledge about AP sites. I searched it on net but did not get the appropriate answer.

    Hi Andy,

    Context is everything in communications. Without knowing the context of your conversation, my first guess would be Associated Press, which is a news service. Aside from that, the only other place I have heard it used for is a biochemistry term. I can tell you that it is not a common SEO term, at least not in my experience and I have been involved for many years.

    Why not just ask him to clarify what he meant by the term?

      I really don't understand why it would be so difficult to ask what they meant by the term "AP sites". There must be something I'm missing. :confused:

    Just ask for an example of a similar AP site to his and then you will be able to research it that way.

    Don't blatently say you don't know what it is. Just get the answer from him indirectly.

    I can't help you with this either. Associate Press seems like the most likely answer...

    Never heard of this either. For AP, I only know Audemars Piguet and Associated Press, but they don't seem like have too much relationship with seo.
