Probably everybody's used it but me. I downloaded it yesterday and really like it. I first checked out the main competitor I'm after and see they have 284 links (including a whitehouse.gov pr10 link (nonworking)).

I then checked my site and it shows 281 backlinks--most being low quality profile and socialbookmark links.

If I check my site in in Google like this, "www.mydomain.com" I have over 10k backlinks. I also have quite a few ezinearticles, goarticles, articlebase wordpress.com and blogger links. NONE of these links show up in SEOSpyglass.

Why don't these links show up? Does that change when you pay for the software?

I like the program, but what good is it if it's not accurate?

I am new at seo and just tried it out as well and noticed every site I checked had the whitehouse.gov link to it, what is up with that? Are they affiliated with Obama? Otherwise, it found most of my old backlinks that have been indexed for awhile, but very few new links(within the last month).

I find it to be more accurate than others are reporting. I did have the whitehouse link for a while but that is the only glitch I have ever seen. No software will show all of your links. for me SEO spyglass has been pretty accurate and more accurate than other software's I have tried.

Non-working Whitehouse.gov backlink is Blekko's bug, not SEO SpyGlass's. Either ignore it or exclude Blekko from the list of backlink sources.

Googling for "www.mydomain.com" is not a right way to search for backlinks. You'll just get a full list of your webpages plus all mentions of your URL on other websites, but not a list of websites pointing to your website through anchors. You can check you backlinks in Google if you search for "link:www.mydomain.com"

The SEO SpyGlass free version has a limitation of 1,100 links per project. Moreover, the free version supports only Yahoo!, Blekko and IceRocket as sources of backlinks, while the pro and the enterprise - up to 412 SEs. Thus, the pro and enterprise versions get more backlinks - up to 100,000 depending on the website you check.
