Adwords and Organic: How can I track sales?

Can anyone tell me the simplest way to track if visitors to my site (who went on to buy my product) came from clicking an Adwords ad or clicking on my organic listing.

All I can think of doing is duplicating my site on another domain and sending adwords clicks to one url and organic clicks to a different url.

There is probably some way of doing this through my Google analytics and adwords accounts but I can't fathom it out.
