So anyway, my forum software i am using is phpBB. I wonder if that will affect my site's rankings in anyway? I don't know really. My site got over 70,000+ posts, have a good amount of activity, and is quite popular. It has been around since January 2010. I don't understand why our PR is still 0. (i know the Google update don't come so soon). Is it because of my coding in the forum? i really don't know. i have bought TONS of SEO services to help my forum. Can anyone help?

Well I don't really know if phpBB is good for SEO. I also own a forum and previously I was using phpBB since it was free the traffic was not that good. I later upgraded to vBulletin and I noticed traffic from search engines since my post were being indexed faster by Google especially.

Don't place emphasis on PR. It's not relevant anymore.

Always look upon the number of "indexed" pages in search engines to view your sites popularity.

Also take a look at the traffic growth of your site. It just visualizes even more that PR is irrelevant.

Thank you. Someone is finally admitting this.
