I think it's too early to say. Let's wait and see. I'd bet that there will always be "some" free article sites though.

Well, if you are article marketing for backlinking purposes it's always going to be that way - there will always be free, easy backlinks to be had, but they will inevitably be of a lower quality. If being prepared to pay in order to get a quality backlink (assuming those really do become quality sites) is part of your business model, then you won't have a problem with it. Quality links are always going to cost more, whether in time or money, than automated, 'cheap' links.

Yes, Of course when you guys are doing article post for SEO purpose then it's well to charge money. by the there are only few sites are asking money out of 1000++ sites you can try by them..
