Little help with WordPress

Hey all,

I have a problem with WordPress. I have created a page called "Blog" but I am not sure how can I add new posts to it, instead of editing the page? Also, if I can't do that, will just editing/updating that page seem to Google like fresh content?

Thanks!
Dominium

You need to instal wordpress in a new directory all together. When you're in fantastico, instal wordpress again in yourdomain.com/blog

No, you don't need to reinstall - you need to make a 'post' and then add it to 'pages'. If you go to the wordpress forum they explain it. I've done it - it's easy. I just can't remember it well.

Are you wanting to use a page called Blog to show your blog posts on instead of the home page? Assuming you now have at least 2 pages on your site (Home and Blog), inside WP go to Settings -> Reading and select Front page displays a static page. Then choose your home page for your Front page and the Blog page for your Posts page. You can then go to Posts -> Add new on the top left menu and you will be able to add posts which will appear on your Blog page, your home page will be a static page.

P.S. You posted this in the wrong section
