Dear friends i am in need of .edu forum profiles badly : (
can some one please tell me how to get them ???
i will be really thankful although i know how to find them via google :S
but i cant spend too much time by searching them but if some one will suggest me a list of .edu forums where i can make profiles then i will be seriously thankful to that person

.edu backlinks are grossly overrated. I wouldn't spend much time or effort chasing them down.

If you just type into Google something like this: allinurl:.edu forum profile (there are also better terms, but this works a bit) you will find forums on .edu sites that let you register a profile.

That said, I have never had any positive impact that I have noticed using .edu profiles. Has anybody else? Maybe I'm just doing it wrong...

be carefull when you find a blog or a forum with .edu or .gov extension what kind of people are there. If you find a forum with 10 treads on it and 1000 users it means that the forum is not properly administrated and it is already considered spam by Google. This is true for blog posts with more than 100 comments and no admin intervenstion...
