Normally a company will say that Direct Linking is not allowed, but my new understanding is that Direct Linking on the Google's Display Network is indeed allowed in most cases. I am primarily focused on sales with Commission Junction, can anyone confirm that Direct Linking is always allowed on the Display Network when using CJ's graphical banner Ads?

    Despite what many others are saying, direct linking is allowed. It seems they just assume you can't because they get suspended or banned. What will get you suspended or banned is the landing page not following Adwords rules. So get familiar with them and carefully evaluate your affiliate's LP before promoting it, especially the misleading and inaccurate claims one. I think the vast majority of CJ merchants should be OK. Clickbank products on the other hand are notorious for breaking that rule.
