What do you think about my link wheel strategy?

Hi warriors,

I'm all new to internet marketing and haven't been doing any linkbuilding myself yet. I read about the use of link wheels as a good backlinking method and thought it might be even improved by adding multiple levels of links wheels. So every site on the linkwheel which links to your money site has its own individual linkwheel.

I've created a little diagram to visualize this (see attachement), Where A is the money site and b to d are article directories.

Now this is all based on the following auto submit article directories:

/make-money-online/382973-links-traffic-today-600-auto-approve-only-article-directories.html

(I can't post links yet so add warriorforum.com infront of the link.

There will be 6 "b" instances (all PR 4 from the auto submit article directories), each b instance will have 4 c instances (PR 2-3) and each of the Cs will have 4 Ds (PR 1-2).

This will give a total of 96 sites. (which I think is realistic doing)

Now my question is: is it worth building multiple levels of link wheels or is it just a waste of time? Did anybody even try this?

Please share your thoughts!

Cheers
Seamc

I'm not sure, but I think that the "wheel" concept has some issues in Google's eyes now.

What you might want to do is remove all the links between the same letters -- don't have any B <-> B links or C <-> C links or D <-> D Links, only link "Up".

Then you will be building a pyramid instead of a wheel.

Is there any proof of this or did anyone expierience this by themselves? Has it got something to do with the new Panda update?

I did not intend to draw any 2 way links... all links should be one way!

    Hello,

It is generally a strategy which helps you to get series of links pointing to the other link and which points to the main website. In this way you can enjoy the flood of traffic toward your site if it works properly. It also offers you to book mark a link or most popular search which provides real benefit for you.

Link wheel sometimes back fires if you try to use more of web2.0 properties. Google might see you getting loads of link in quick succession then you might be in problem. So it is advice-able to use 4-5 properties to make a link wheel.

Apparantly link wheels are falling out of favour as they leave a very noticable footprint. I've no proof of this it's just what I've read, although from usually reliable sources. In the last wso I bought it also advised to stay well away from them. In my opinion it's better to be safe than sorry, so I'm staying away.
