Home Page Not Appearing First for the site: command

hi fellows,
one of my big site, 1-2 month old, with thousands of pages(mostly products),
I get some blogroll and high PR link for it recently,
now when site: my site in google,
the homepage move to the 2rd page, about 20th position.
everyone experienced that?
and the ranking is more funny,
the main keyword,
everyday in the morning it's on the first page 8-10 position,
in the afternoon, it's disappear, can not found in top 100.
it has been like this for about a week.
any suggestion?
