Hi warriors,

My site is listed in high position in Google but it does not do well at all in Yahoo and Bing. What do you guys think I should do? I have lots of backlinks and good content but it seems that Yahoo and Bing look for some different.

Thanks.

      +1 here!

One suggestion though: it is believed that Yahoo and Bing are more content-oriented when ranking websites, while Google values backlinks more.

      LOL! thats the truth

but bing is catching up somehow so the extra traffic is very welcome!

Content links, even links in comments will work for them. They just kinda take longer to rank you but youll get there if you focus on that type of link

hmmmmmm... instead of getting yahoo or bing ranking you should try other keyword to be ranked in google. anyway if you want ranking in yahoo and bing just do lot submission. it doesn't matter dofollow or nofollow. i think social bookmarking is the best way. try it and if you want to ask more about that feel free to contact me.

I don't really focus on Yahoo & Bing, but several of my sniper sites are in the top 3 in Yahoo - all of those sites have unique content and only low quality, automated backlinks.

According to me yahoo ranking based on content and meta part of website so try to update your content on regular basis and make some good backlink.

I would say Content. Yahoo n Bing thing never cares about backlinks . they ll rank News sites, Forums, ANd blogs and website with huge content. Search yourself. you ll see that

Submit your sitemap to both Yahoo, and bing. Create a page in facebook and link back it to your site and tell your firends to like the page.

The problem is you will get much less visitors for being on the first page in yahoo and bing than google. Optimizing for yahoo and bing might not be economicly efficient for your business.

Since yahoo and bing is joined now it might be getting even more important to know than google. Especially when microsoft is pushing for bing users with windows phone 7 and there other developments.

2 should be better than 1 eh?

Who knows though, google: "Bing SEO"
I found this article in the search. Bing SEO Strategies Looks like pretty damn cool info.

Yeah, I'm with some of the others here, Yahoo & Bing seem really content oriented. Articles, web 2.0, contextual linking, etc & throw in some high authority back linking.

I have sites ranking first page in Bing and Yahoo that Google recently dropped pretty hard - without the Google traffic i don't make a penny from them, even though i get the traffic from the other two... do the searchers using Yahoo/Bing have a different mindset than those using Google? might be time for me to find out...
