In my knowledge, it doesn't matter really what you choose.

What about .info? Only a buck or two for the first year.

      Seriously folks.....

I can't imagine what kind of landing page you are going to
create with a free domain. The mindset is just backwards.

The extension does not matter, but for adwords you should have
words in the domain that trigger a click. Have them relevant to
      the subject.

If you can't invest in a real domain and website, where is the
cash coming from to get into adwords?

On second thought, are .com.py domains free now?

If your audience is the US, and they see that domain, what
      are they going to think?

Your domain does factor into the QS just a tad.

Agreed, which is why I suggested .info. They're dirt cheap and at least it's recognizable.

Takes money to make money...pony up for a .com. I wouldn't trust a .co.cc for anything.

You may want to forget co.cc. Google just deindexed it along with 11 million sub domains!

Just read about that, I'm keeping away from all free domains altogether. Domains are cheap anyway and if your serious about building a website then this is definitely the route to go.

Godaddy have an offer on currently for $1 domains (.com .net .org etc) again
          coupon code: JILLIAN1

As much as I hate Godaddy, its hard to refuse these offers when they do them
