I've been involved in internet marketing for one year but don't know much about about Adsense. I have about 12 websites and would like to put Adsense on a few of them. Is it OK to have multiple websites on one Adsense account or is it better to have them separate?

Thanks

No problem at all as long as those websites don't contravene the Adsense TOS because if it does they will ban you altogether.

You can have more than one website on your Adsense account. But you have to make sure they all pass the Rules of Adsense. Your websites also have to be approved for Adsense. Your websites should have good content, some traffic, and been updated somewhat recently. Good luck!

as with any program you HAVE to read the TOS ( terms of service ) You have to know what you are getting into.

Adsense if pretty picky so make sure your content is original. That is very important, and also that your site doesn't look like a made for adsense site.

If you get a manual review from google you want to stand on your own.

I have loads of Adsense sites. Once you are accepted (which isn't difficult if you're making sites for people to actually read) you can just add the code to every new site you build.

The only thing to worry about, as others have mentioned, is to not break Adsense rules. And this is not too difficult. As long as your sites are not totally spammy the only things you really need to worry about are:
    • Not putting them on sites that promote something Google doesn't allow, like porn, drugs, alcohol (I think) and tabacco and precription meds.
    • Not putting ads too close to images
    • Not attempting to trick people into clicking on ads.

You shouldn't have a problem putting all 12 websites onto one account - although I have heard stories where they did that and adsense freaked out and banned them (even though it was legit)
