- Moms and pops will never be at Google top 22 again ?

I would like to discuss what is right direction now to get traffic for an individual - to avoid or not to avoid seo ?

Such interpretation of current SEO trends is circulating now :

* The time of moms and pops at Google top 22 with organic traffic has gone , disappeared in "sweet past" forever and will never return back .

- As small ipad producers (if they exist) will never beat MS or Apple .

- As auto-responders for one time USD22 will never beat aweber .

- As small car producers will never beat Ford .

- As small shops will never beat Walmart .

* As seo individuals with spends only their own time will never beat giants at Google top 22 again .

There are some chances to get Google top 22 at seo spending starting from USD11 k/m .
More then 55% of Google top 22 belongs to sites with seo spending even above USD111 k/m .

* I was at an online course this year , heading by seo individual .
The course main subject was how to build seo organic traffic .
The course boss's main site was at first position at Google till April .
Now his site at 77-th position at Google - top positions taken by big corporations .
He can not do anything in spite of he is online with good profit since 2002 .

* It is useless to spend own time and funds on seo if spends below USD11 k/m .
Now organic - natural traffic paths are occupied by dinosaurs .
It is time now to watch online dinosaurs wars .

* Moms and pops will never be at Google top 22 again .
The seo organic traffic is a wrong way for moms and pops now .
If today their sites still are at Google top 22 - tomorrow their sites will be eaten by dinosaurs .

* My decision :
Currently I am in a making decision to leave organic traffic pathway and to concentrate on traffic channels not Google related - while it is not too late .

I would like to find facts , arguments , allowing to end my doubts - to avoid or not to avoid seo organic traffic ?

    Create something of value and google will probably place you in the top 22. It's not about google shunning 'mom and pop' websites. It's about google ignoring 'low quality.'

    1. JamesM - why are you talking about the number 22?

    - For example I set Google to display 30 entries on first page and usually I scroll down up to 22…30 position .
    Some others take a look on first and second pages in Google results at 10 entries on first page setting .
    So , there is some traffic even for sites on 22 position - I will use now top 10 .

    - Who are moms and pops ?
    They are people spending 1…2 hs/d for online selling after their day job .
    They are Clickbank customers .

    Such people can not produce some super quality things due a lack of education and time .
    In the past ugly sale sites created by moms's and pops's were ranking at top 10 .

    Currently online professionals - corporations and individuals spending even up to 11 hs/d for online selling - create high quality sites equipped with high quality content , back-links , live comments .
    Their sites occupy top 10 .

    Moms and pops are equipped with knifes and pitchforks - even do not have Market Samurai .
    Professionals are equipped with guns and tanks : with services up to USD1 k/m and "heavy" tools .
    Who will win top 10 ?

    - I am close to a decision to get some solid arsenal of tools and services .
    These tools and services will help to get top 10 - if I decide to fight on this pathway .

    In other words :
    *) To get online profit I must leave moms and pops camp and step by step to become an online professional .
    *) Online profit can produce now only online professionals .

    3. yukon - If your asking a question or making a statement ?

    - I am in doubts and tried above in sharp words to outline a statement that a time of moms and pops has gone forever .
    I would like to get confirmations that this statement is true .

    4. amiramin - to become the best, you have to beat the best

    - These the best equipped with guns and tanks - it is useless to try to throw down them with empty hands .

    It completely depends on the keywords you are targeting. You simply can't generalize like this. Obviously if you are going after something super competitive like an iPod etc, then you will be running with the big dogs.

      Your definition of Mom and pops is off Searcher. Mom and pop means a family run business not someone selling clickbank products after work. Why should someone who doesn't have time, education or any ability to put up a good site be put in the top position of ANYTHING?

      Be my guess trying non search related traffic but if your site is junk the bounce rate will kill you anyway.
