Hi,

I have a coupon site companynameprintablecoupons.com whichh was at #7 for its Keyword.

I built around 400-500 High Pr Signature Profile Link and the site dropped from ranking however its inner pages rank at Page 3-5. Tag Pages rank at PAge 2 however main domain has dropped.

Same happened with my other wesite companynamecouponssite.com However it did have a Sitewide link coming from PR2 website with around 900 links indexed.

Can anyone suggest what shall I Do to get the main domain back in ranking like it did before?

Thanks

Were those profile signature links to the home page?

Maybe you should set up a different source of backlinks. See if that works, and if it does, use more.

How long since you build links. Maybe its a Google Dance but remember always diversify links and build tiered links when opting for profile links.

Those "High PR" profile links are all PR0 links. Chances are they aren't even indexed and have no bearing on the ranking.

Just keep getting quality links. Also, your competitors might just be more active on that keyword now. Could be also just be normal.

The rankings you were holding onto was because of the honeymoon effect. 95% of your forum links probably are not indexed and the only backlinks you actually do have is the sitewide and a few PR0 pages.

That's not enough to hold up in that niche.

Yes indeed those profiles are not even Indexed. Should I try to Index those links or not?

Nope, they're tough to index and a lot will likely get deleted as spam if they are.

What i would do is start building web 2.0's/getting article links and using forum profiles as a tier 2 link to them.
