Should I Use Proxies In Scrapebox?

I just bought Scrapebox and will be using it for the first time. Had no idea what proxies were and did some research. They seem to be for people who are scraping thousands of urls and using the auto commenter.

I am only going to be scraping about 100-200 urls per week and manually commenting on them, not using the auto commenter. Do I need to use the proxies?

Any dangers of not using them with this little of activity?

For such a low activity you don't need them. But belive me when I say that you will end up using scrapebox far more once you find out how powerfull it is. (:

To get 200 good urls you are going to have to scrape a much higher number but for scraping you can use public proxies.

I would still get at least one private proxy at a time for posting. That way if you do get it banned you can just switch to a new one.

What you need to do is find sources other than the default ones that come with scrapebox. Those things are hammered by every scrapebox owner out there and die very quickly. You can enter in your own sources into scrapebox or use a separate proxy tool to gather public ones that are not quite so abused.

Don't waste $20-30/month just on proxies if your barely going to use them. Scrape free, they'll do the job.

To get a good 100-200 URLs to comment on, you will need to scrape a lot more than that, and then narrow it down. So yes, you need proxies, but you can just use public ones if you want to.

Yes, because it's still going to take a lot of proxies to find those URL's in the first place. Also, I wouldn't spend too much time manually commenting on nofollow / PR N/A posts. You can use these to blast away at buffer sites.

If you're going the manual route you'll need to spend a decent amount of time looking for the higher quality blogs. (Though finding 100-200 a week shouldn't be too tough.) You can find a fair amount by searching just Wordpress blogs and running your results through the DoFollow / NoFollow tool in Scrapebox. Save the posts that are DoFollow and run a PR check on the domains. The higher PR domains should have a decent amount of inner pages / posts with PR.

Yes, I recommend using proxies. You can start by using free ones. High anonynous or anonymous are good for hiding your ip.
