Adsense vs Advertisers?

I have a site on pageantry, ThePageantPlanet.com, that gets between 40,000 and 80,000 monthly visits (according to Awstats on HostGator) but I am only bringing in ~$350 per month from a coaching product that I created

Now, I don't know if that traffic is good enough to earn money from...all I know is that I am not making money from it and I want to.

Would you recommend Adsense or finding my own advertisers? (Or another option that I am not thinking of?)

In truth I just don't think I am good at making money from my site so any direction to products, or people I could hire to help would be appreciated.

Other stats that may or may not be helpful:
Twitter Following ~11k
FB Fans ~6k
Emails ~2k
#adsense #advertisers

Why not try both and then conclude which is best for yourself.

There's no way anyone can you tell you what you're asking. I suggest use Adsense for one week. Work on your CTR and get it up to 5 - 10%.

Then do related affilate offers you can find for another week and compare.

Or better yet, there's no reason you can't do both.

Nice website btw, you should be making ALOT more than 350 per month.

Really? I am very comforted to know that I should be making ALOT more than $350. Thank you for your reply!
