      what if your site is about looking at porn while gambling online while high on drugs?

      Gambling sites are returned in the SERPs, many with high Page Rank.
      And what about brazzers . com? They are a PR 5 porn site with traffic most would kill for.

      And then there is hightimes . com. Another PR 5 "bad site" that also has fairly decent traffic.... just saying

        LOL That made my day.

        I own a few adult sites and I used to link to my new non adult sites to get a lil boost. I dont really do this anymore, but it didnt seem to hurt when I did.

          I've worked with adult and gambling sites in the past. I never saw any harm from gambling sites, then again, one tends to stay in the "network" when promoting. The porn sites that can hurt your site are also the ones that can hurt you.... meaning the ones with viruses, illegal crap, etc...
          Who is to constitute what is porn? A lot of art is centered around the human body as well as some sexual acts.

          But as mentioned ashishbhatnagar, try and stay within your niche if possible. And if your website is a kids toys review site, well, doing without the adult related backlinks is probably best.

    Backlinks from these type of sites will not hurt your website, but they will not count much. Here is a video that explains this:

    Is your website in question even about adult content?

    If not, why would you want to get links from there, it doesn't make sense.
