Does Google recognize posting patterns?

Assuming that a site is newly indexed and you have a half dozen more articles ready to post; is it better to post them all at once or to ration them out or does it even make a difference?
In other words, is there any benefit (ranking wise) to waiting for each article to be indexed before posting the next?

No need to wait for the posting. The early you post the articles, the early the chances of getting that page indexed and ranked. So as soon as you get an article post it.

I disagree. I'd wait 1-2 days between posting each article. It looks more natural to google.

I suppose my practice has always been along the same lines as yours Blake.
I generally wait for each article to be indexed before posting the next and never post more than once a day in an effort to appear more "natural" to Google, but now I'm wondering if it even matters.
Some one gave me the idea that if you post a lot of material all at once Google sees it as your normal activity and expects that same kind of volume from then on and penalizes your rank if you suddenly drop off.
Now I've got a few people telling me it doesn't matter how often or how heavily you post, which kind of goes against what I've witnessed with my own work.

I've noticed that when I post all at once I get a high ranking (on the SERP) fast, but drop just as fast.
On the other hand if I post one a day after each has been indexed my page rank steadily increases and holds longer allowing me ample time to get my backlinks in place.

Has anyone else seen anything in their own work that would suggest that there's a right way or a wrong way... or at least a good way and a better way?

If you do bulk posting with many backlinks then I guess google can recognize it and penalize your site, so be careful

I'd schedule them 2-3 days apart.
