      I like google trends but only if I am planning on doing some marketing that day for the niche I find.

      I found that tradekey.com has tons of keywords listed on the site. Just scroll to the bottom of the page look for A-Z and click on a letter to look through the keywords.

      I also like to go to cj.com and look through the advertisers and see if there are any niches I might like.

    Analyze some of the search terms people are using to find your site.

    For example, I run one site in a medical niche that is attracting visitors searching 1 keyword. It's related to a cancer treatment that also is used to treat this disease in my niche. After doing more research I was able to easily build a site that's been very profitable from Adsense revenue.
