Backlinks Strategy

Hello Friends,

A doubt on my mind that on what basis Google give baclinks to any website or which one is that strategy?
When I check back links upon Google it shows only seven but when I check it upon Yahoo, shows 195 what is it:confused:

Can someone know about it?
Please give suggestions!!

    Google has always been very careful with the content displayed, so I guess the pr checker also looks for top links. Is not certain, but some SEO experts say that Google displays just backlinks from websites with a PR greater than 4.

      Not the case.. Yes Google only shows a very limited number of your backlinks but it is random and it not tied to the PR of the sites where your link is.

    If your backlinks dont show for up the link:search, it doesn't mean that Google hasnt counted them. As long as the backlink pages are in the index, they are counted.

      Personally I use an indexing service to make sure my backinks get found. If you run your backlinks through there each month and make sure they get indexed then you dont need to worry about checking all the time etc. They may not get picked up right away, but they will soon enough if they are indexed. My advice, don't over analyze backlinks showing up or not. Just make sure they get indexed and your rankings will take care of themselves.

      Am happy to hear ts because i have been wondering what happens to my backlinks. Sometimes they links just drop without any explanation as to why they drop.

    The data from Backlink checker tools cannot be relied upon. The tools will never show you the true amount of backlinks that your website has.

      I agree with this statement, relying too much on backlink checker does no good because they are not all that accurate in giving you the information you want.

    You are Right!! In My Opinion Back Link Tool can never provides you accurate information regarding Back links Generation, you should rely on other factors as well to enhance the rankings of your keywords!!

    save a list of your backlinks url and run them thru some index checker software. Scrapebox has that function..as long as they are indexed you are good. Those that are not indexed you can ping or use some index boosting service. Google will never ever show you all the backlinks you have.
